El combate se celebrar\u00e1 en la ciudad de Sindelfingen (Alemania) y su rival ser\u00e1 la boxeadora local, actual campeona, <strong>Sarah Bormann<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Para Bormann (19-1-0) se trata de la primera defensa del cintur\u00f3n conseguido en diciembre del a\u00f1o pasado, cuando derrot\u00f3 por puntos a la argentina <strong>Jennifer Sabrina Meza<\/strong>. La teutona tiene m\u00e1s experiencia en el campo profesional que la espa\u00f1ola (Rivero alcanza los 13 combates) y tambi\u00e9n cuenta con mucha m\u00e1s experiencia dentro del boxeo ol\u00edmpico, en el que sum\u00f3 participaciones en Campeonatos de Europa y Mundiales.<\/p>\n<p>En el caso de la espa\u00f1ola, el boxeo fue una pasi\u00f3n tard\u00eda y a sus 37 a\u00f1os le llega esta oportunidad, despu\u00e9s de haberse proclamado Campeona de Europa y haber sumado tambi\u00e9n t\u00edtulos intermedios de un par de organismos (WBC y WBA). Su desembarco en el profesionalismo se produjo en 2022, tras una corta carrera en el \u00e1mbito ol\u00edmpico que se vio, en parte, truncada por la pandemia. Pese a comenzar tarde, de la mano de <strong>Diego Uceta<\/strong> (entrenador) y <strong>Kike Soria<\/strong> (m\u00e1nager), la pucelana ha dado pasos agigantados y este s\u00e1bado podr\u00eda acariciar el cielo a nivel deportivo.<\/p>\n<p>El equipo espa\u00f1ol ha viajado este jueves a la ciudad germana, cercana a Stuttgart, donde ma\u00f1ana se enfrentar\u00e1 a la cita con la b\u00e1scula. En ella, Rivero no debe tener problemas, pues normalmente milita en una divisi\u00f3n m\u00e1s baja de donde se realizar\u00e1 el combate; ella puede dar con facilidad el peso \u00e1tomo, el m\u00e1s bajo en mujeres, aunque este combate ser\u00e1 en el inmediatamente superior, el m\u00ednimo, donde ya se proclam\u00f3, por ejemplo, monarca continental.
